    Sasquash, aka, Bigfoot, aka the abominable snow man, aka Yetti, is a fury tall humanoid ape like creature which walks upright. People believe that it mostly inhabits section of Pacific North Region of North America. Some persons say that Bigfoot is just folklore, hoax or miss-identification. No one has ever truly identified or prove that such a creature really exits. Sightings have been claimed by many persons, some confess that some of those sightings were hoax while some claim that they are 100 percent genuine and have seen the creature. With all the many sightings reported, none has ever come up with a clear and concise image or photo of such a creature. Most videos and pictures that persons claim to have taken are not eligible to declare authentic.

    9. Leprechaun

    There is a saying that at the end of the rainbow, you will find a pot of gold. Well that pot of gold belongs to a mischievous little creature called a Leprechaun. Leprechauns are of Irish Folklore, it is also believed that if the creature is captured, it will grant their capturer three (3) wishes in exchange for their freedom.

    An elf is a type of supernatural being in Germanic mythology and folklore. Evidence for elves appears in diverse sources such as medical texts, prayers, ballads, and folktales. Elves seem generally to have been thought of as a group of beings with magical powers and supernatural beauty, ambivalent towards everyday people and capable of either helping or hindering them. Elves are prominently associated with sexual threats, seducing people and causing them harm. The little creatures in the north pole are merely children of elves which the big man in red uses in his workshop.

    A fairy is a type of mythical being or legendary creature in European folklore, a form of spirit. Fairies are generally described as human in appearance and having magical powers. Their origins are less clear in the folklore. They are supposed to be the most secretive of mythical creatures. It is believed that Fairies will shy away from adult humans because of risk of being captured, while they will play with and adore little children. Many stories have been written about fairies and their magical fairy dust which when sprinkled on a human, it allows them to fly. I can tell you, I would do well with some of these fairy dust right now to avoid the evening traffic.

    In European folklore, It is described as dazzling white horse with spiral central horn at its forehead. Over the centuries, many persons have said that they have seen the creature and once it recognizes that it is spotted, it will run off and disappear. In some folklore, It was traditionally believed that only a naked virgin sitting beneath a tree could catch the delicate unicorn. The unicorn, who craves purity, would be irresistibly drawn to the girl and lie down with his head in her lap. While it slept, the hunter would sneak up and capture the animal.

    We have been hearing about mermaids and mermaid sightings for centuries, and just like any other legendary mythical creature, no evidence of their real existence was ever found.
    Mermaids are said to be an aquatic creature with the upper body of a human and the tail of a fish. Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide, including the Near East, Europe, Africa and Asia. It is believed that if a mermaid fancies a human, she/he would dream that person and influence them to go to a river or sea, there the mermaid would leave a beautiful comb for the person to comb his or her hair, once they have used that comb, they will belong to the sea forever.

    A werewolf in folklore and mythology is a person who shape shifts into a wolf, either purposely, by using magic, or after being placed under a curse. The curse can either be placed on the person by a witch or being bitten by a werewolf. The werewolf is another strong Hollywood character. Many movies are created based upon this mythical creature.
    The medieval chronicler Gervase of Tilbury associated the transformation with the appearance of the full moon, but this concept was rarely associated with the werewolf until the idea was picked up by modern fiction writers. Most modern references agree that a werewolf can be killed if shot by a silver bullet, although this is more a reflection of fiction's influence than an authentic feature of the folk legends. A werewolf allegedly can be killed by complete destruction of heart or brain; You can also pack those 50 calibure silver bullets too.

    3.Dracula

    Dracula has been around for generations. He may be considered the master of mythical creatures. The Count is a pale night walking creature, who cannot exist in sunlight, and walks the earth at night in search of fresh victims to drink their blood. Dracula, after fulfilling it's feed then goes to sleep in the day in a dark Castle in a secret coffin. It is believed that Dracula is the Father of all vampires and is also a leader in the Dark kingdoms. Legend has it that he is able to metamorph into whatever creature he thinks of but prefers to morph into a bat because of its frightening appearance. Count Dracula is timeless as he ages once every 1000 years. It is believed that he has the power of hypnosis and can make any one do his bidding.

    2. Dragons

    Fire breathing, bone crunching, flesh ripping, large animal that wreaked havoc with even its shadows. Dragons have been mentioned in many tales throughout the centuries. It is mostly common to hear that a brave knight has rescued some princess and has slew the dragon in doing so, but if a dragon is all that and more, i am certain that no brave knight can take on a dragon alone with a simple sword or spear!
    A dragon is described as a legendary creature, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, that is featured in the folklore of many cultures. There are two distinct cultural traditions of dragons: the European dragon, which came from European folk traditions and ultimately related to Greek and Middle Eastern mythologies, and the Chinese dragon, with counterparts in Japan (namely the Japanese dragon), Korea and other East Asian countries.
    The dragon has become so famous it is now integrated in many kids stories, meaning hard copy books. Many movies have been created centered around the dragon itself. The Dragon is seen in some Asian cultures as a very powerful and mystifying creature. There are even kung fu moves and martial art fighting styles which are named from the dragon.

    Santa Clause is the Number one Mystical Creatures that exist. Songs are made about him and all the children in the world adores him, Even milk and cookies are left for him every Christmas eve. He has his own toy-making factory in the north pole where he has tiny elves working for him and his snow sled actually flies by using flying rein-deers. He visits all countries during Christmas eve unto Christmas morning, that's millions of home in one night, delivering gifts to nice children. He enters the home through a fireplace and when there is no fire place, he simple just opens the front door. Santa clause has even gotten his own special day to celebrate with us, Christmas! There are so many Santa Claus movies it is countless, Every year, millions of want to be Santa Clause comes out and dress like him to bring cheer to either family or strangers. He ha millions of trinkets made in his image. Santa Clause has ho ho ho his name to being number one (1) on the list of mythical creatures.
