All Disney Princesses

Over many decades, Disney has given us so many animated characters which we have fallen in love with from inception. From mickey mouse, Donald Duck, goofy to many animated special characters that have found their way in our hearts. The creation of Disney Princesses have turned every little girl we know into a fairy tale princess. They enter into a realm of beauty, bravery, honesty, love and magic. Lets look at Disney Princesses and re counter those great moments at Walt Disney.

1. Snow White

Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? Snow White of course! Snow white was a beautiful princess who had a pure heart. She had lips red as rose and her skin was as white as snow. Her life was not without all the regular aches that comes with being a Disney Princess. She had an evil stepmother who wanted her dead. Snow white was forced to leave her beautiful castle and live in the forest. She befriended seven funny dwarves and eventually found her knight in shining armor. Her wicked stepmother did all she could in her power to get rid of snow white, but in the end snow white defeated with love and bravery and eventually took her rightful place in the castle.

2. Cinderella

The beautiful yet hard working Cinderella. The Cinderella tale speaks about a widower who marries a proud and vain woman who became his second wife. She had two snobby little girls who were just as bad and selfish as their mother. The widower had a beautiful and kindhearted daughter with his first wife. Soon Cinderella found her self now without mother or father even though her father was alive, but she never told him of all the abuse as he was controlled totally by the wicked stepmother. Both her croaky step sisters and her step mother forced her into servitude. She had become a house slave. Cinderella was sad and wanted to escape the wickedness she was under. She was given three fairy God Mothers who would help her to change her fate. Cinderella dreamed of going to a ball put on by the king to find a princess for his son the prince. Herr three fairy God Mothers used magic to make a beautiful dress for Cinderella and of course the famous glass shoes. Cinderella could not let the wicked stop mother and her mean daughters know of this as it would have spelled disaster for her. Cinderella was the eye of the ball and also captured the eye of the prince. They danced and spoke, the prince fell in love that night and had found his mysterious princess.

 

3. Ariel

Well, if that little "unda di sea" song sang by Sebastian the crab, (Ariel's little sidekick and buddy), don't get you rocking nothing will. Ariel is number three on my list of Disney Princesses. Princess Ariel is a sweet little mermaid who takes on big adventures both on land and sea. Ariel has long flowing bright red air with dazzling blue eyes and green mermaid tail. She is the daughter of King Triton and The beautiful Queen Athena. Ariel marries Prince Eric whom she had rescued from an adventurous shipwreck and they had a daughter to together named melody.


 

4. Aurora - Sleeping Beauty

Disney Princesses number four is Princess Aurora. Created by Walt Disney and animated by Marc Davis, Princess Aurora is the daughter of King Stefan's and Queen Leah. Princess Aurora was blessed by three fairy God Mothers at her christening with beauty and sweet melody, however a wicked fairy by the name of Maleficent cast a curse on poor little Aurora. The curse was that on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora would prick her tender finger on a Spinning wheel's spindle and die. This was a powerful spell and could not be lifted easily, so the good fairies came to together and altered the curse so that when Princess Aurora pricked her finger, instead of dieing she would fall into a deep sleep that could only be awoken by the kiss of her true love, a prince. The story of Princess Aurora is a beautiful one indeed.

 

5. Pocahontas

You can't talk about natural beauty and not have this Disney Princess name attached to it. The story of Pocahontas is actually a real one, Disney simply did its own commercial friendly version. Matoaka was the beautiful and lively daughter of Powhatan, ruler of the land that the English named Virginia. She was given the nickname of "Pocahontas" by her parents. It meant "one that is playful and hard to control". There was a custom at that time which would allow Powhatan to send her mother home to her own village to raise Pocahontas. Pocahontas later left her mother to live in her father's capital, with her brothers and sisters. As Disney has it, Pocahontas is well known for saving the life of British Captain John Smith.

6. Jasmine

Princess Jasmine is the daughter of a the Sultan of Agrabah. She first made her marvelous appearance in the movie Aladdin. By law, princess Jasmine must marry a prince three days before her 18 birthday. Jasmine however is a tough spirited yet beautiful girl who refuses to marry for money and power over true love. This had angered her father and others as Jasmine continued to reject all the ones chosen for her to pick for marriage as she loved none of them. Jasmine became frustrated also and runs away from home. Brave Jasmine ventures outside the castle wall for the first time and finds her self getting into trouble only to be rescued by the witty Aladdin who she later falls in love with.

7. Belle

Disney Princess Bell, Some would call her the intellect of all Disney Princesses. Princess Bell loves to read and has becomes a lover of books. She has gained quite a bit of intelligence over the years from the many books she had read. Her vocabulary is quite extraordinary complimented by her active imagination and open mindedness. For those who don't know Princess's Bell adventure, think beauty and the beast.
In Princess Bell''s adventure, a hotheaded young prince and his castle's servants fall under the spell of a wicked enchantress, who turns him into the hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. The spirited, headstrong village girl Belle enters the Beast's castle after he imprisons her father. With the help of his enchanted servants, including the matronly Mrs. Potts Belle has shown the beast compassion and love while the beast begins to soften and show love in return. In the end, the spell is broken and the power of love prevails.

8. Mulan

Not all princess need to be rescued by a Knight in shining armor. Disney Princess Mulan's beauty is as sharp as the sword she wields to defend her her country China, from invaders. In this story, war looms over China and one male from each family is called to serve in the army to defend their country from invaders. Mulan's father is old and weak and her younger brother is just a child, so she decides to take his place and bids farewell to her parents. Under disguise as a male warrior, mulan helps to defeat the invaders and returns home as a victorious male warrior. But eventually discards her disguise and reveals who the magnificent warrior really was.

 

9. Rapunzel

Talk about "hair" to the throne. Rapunzel is not a typical Disney Princess; the magnificent gold like blonde hair, which is 70-feet-long, and has the magical ability to both heal and reverse aging when she sings a special Healing Incantation song is a very cool power. She was kidnapped by Mother Gothel when she was still an infant and was grown to believe that Gothel was her real mother. Gothel only used Rapunzel magical powers so that she could remain young forever. She brainwashed Rapunzel into thinking that the outside world was a wicked and princess eating place and did not let her venture out of the towered prison she placed her in. When Rapunzel was 18, she was rescued by Flynn Rider the self made God's gift to women.

 

10. Tiana

Any one here wants to kiss a frog? Well Tiana had to do just that. Tiana was a hardworking waitress who dreamed of opening her own restaurant, Tiana's progress comes to an halt when she transforms into a frog after desperately kissing a prince who has been turned into one by an evil witch doctor.Tiana goes on her "frogly" adventures and with a little help from some peculiar friends. Tiana falls in love with the frog prince and both gets married and eventually kisses. That kiss along with true love from both, turns them back into human form. Tiana is transformed into a princess and they vanquish the evil witch doctor.

 

11. Merida

A very strong-headed, red kinky hair 16 year old princess. Merida is the free spirited and intriguing daughter of king Fergus and Queen Elinor. Queen Elinor's wants her daughter to grow as a decent heads up chin up lady who acts like royalty, but Merida is an impetuous young girl who wants to live her own life and take control of her own destiny. Merida has honed her skill in archery, and is one of the most skilled archers. She is also skilled in sword-fighting and enjoys racing across the countryside on her horse, Angus. Despite her outgoing, forceful, headstrong and willful personality, Merida does have a playful softness of heart; especially when it comes to her younger triplet brothers. Merida gets entangled with a witch and bought a spell from her to turn her mother into a bear. Merida regrets the act and must reverse the spell before a a specific time before her mother turns into a bear forever.

12. Elsa

Elsa, Princess of Arendelle possess the power to produce or manipulate ice, frost and snow at will. One night while playing, she accidentally injures her younger sister, Princess Anna. Their shocked parents, the king and queen, seek help from the troll king, who heals Anna and removes her memories of Elsa's magic. Their parents isolates the children in their castle until Elsa learns to control her powers which are much more powerful than imagined. Afraid of hurting Anna again, Elsa spends most of her time alone in her room, refusing even to speak to Anna, and a rift develops between the sisters as they grow up. The royal couple lost their lives at sea during a terrible storm. Elsa being the eldest of the two, was ordained to become the next queen until the people recognized Elsa's powers and called her a witch and drove her into isolation. Princess Anna embarked on an adventure to bring her sister home to take her rightful place as queen.
